Censorship and PayPal - Censorship and PayPal.
That's all I've been reading about. I've drained my PayPal acct and when I've confirmed the money's in my bank I'm severing my ties to PayPal. It's going to be as annoying as hell - it's like another credit card. But I'm going to have to figure out how to deal.
Some chicken invisible power is pressuring PayPal who pressured Bookstrand etc. PayPal should have had the guts to stand up and say no - they caved.
Everyone can state they have the right blah blah blah - PayPal is a banking service and they are pressuring the booksellers - who it seems also have no balls.
You can pompously state the booksellers have the moral right not to sell the books - but that fact falls flat on it's face AFTER THE FACT THAT THEY'VE MADE HOW MUCH MONEY ON ALL THOSE AUTHORS.
Their morals are less virtous than an underpaid hooker's.
Here's another person's view - she explains it all.
