D'Ann Lindun's WIld Horses on Erotic Notions

D'Ann Lindun’s Wild Horses is a fast-paced gripping suspense romance with an intriguing heroine , a hot FBI agent, secrets and wild mustangs all combined in one.

When Castaña Castillo receives a mysterious phone call reporting that her brother is missing, she hitches up her horse trailer and drives from Dallas to her brother’s ranch in Arizona. Exhausted from the drive and sweltering from the heat, Castaña narrowly misses a man who suddenly appears on the road.

Enter Jake, a hot FBI agent, but at the moment a little too hot as he is suffering from sun burn and heat stroke. His assignment is to hunt down a killer, Martin Castillo. When his camp was ransacked and his water stolen, Jake is forced to walk miles back to the main road for help, where is he almost run over by a truck hauling a horse trailer.

Martin Castillo is an Arizona horse rancher and self-appointed protector of the wild mustangs. His methods are a step beyond the law, but his estranged sister, Castaña, doesn’t believe he’d commit murder.

Castaña has to sift through the confusion to find her brother and discover the truth. And - notice that true love is standing right next to her.

There are twists and turns, trusts and betrayals, truths and lies, love and pain. Everything but the kitchen sink. Oh wait, Jake did the dishes – even the kitchen sink.

Not only does Wild Horses have an interesting twist, amid the compelling romance, D’Ann  mixes in the plight of the wild mustangs which tugs at the heart and makes the reader cheer for the mysterious law breaker, Martin Castillo.

What pulled me into this story? D’Ann’s writing. Her voice. The story flowed effortlessly from scene to scene pulling the reader along. But it was the descriptions that made me forget what I was doing and tossed me into a terrifying Arizona thunderstorm. The way she uses language will make her readers' flesh prickle with the heat. They'll be able to smell the rotting flesh and experience the rush of riding bare back while cheering for the romance that is growing between Castaña and Jake.

If you are looking for a great book to read, be sure to mark D’Ann Lindun’s Wild Horses on your TBR. You WILL enjoy it. It’s a book you will want to read again and again. I know I am.
