My first Horny Hump Wednesday
If I've done this right then this is my first visit to Horny Hump Day. Welcome everyone.
Thought I'd drop in and join the fun this week. From A Kept Woman, here are my 3 – count them – 3 sentences.
She turned and bared her round, firm ass cheeks to him. Grazing her nails up from the bottom, she left faint trails of pink on her flesh. “A firm ass - built for slapping.”
Arianne can be such a tease. Especially when the prize is billionaire Derek Davenport.
Thanks for stopping by - now on to the other Horny Hump blogs http://www.hornyhumpday.com .

In 2012 I resolve...not to
Welcome to the New Year Memory blog hop.
My biggest New Years memory is that everyone makes a New Year's Resolution. After a quick Google search, I discovered the top ten are:
1. Spend more time with friends and family
2. Work out more often (or start to work out)
3. Lose weight (was really surprised this wasn't #1)
4. Quit smoking
5. Enjoy life more
6. Quit drinking
7. Get out of debt
8. Learn something new
9. Help others
10. Get organized
So what is my Resolution for 2012? The same as it was for 2011, 2010, 2009…. I don't make one. Why not?
1. Spend more time with friends and family – my family and I are close – not in miles but we're close knit. We make it a point to get together often. Friends – same thing. Everyone leads busy lives, but we all make sure we spend time together.
2. Work out more often (or start to work out) – I'll just add "working" on it. I garden. I walk. I do all sorts of things that can be counted as exercise.
3. Lose weight – just not going to talk about this one – it's a week after Christmas!!
4. Quit smoking – never smoked
5. Enjoy life more - I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of person. I charge through life with a smile on my face.
6. Quit drinking – I'm the official designated driver of my family and friends.
7. Get out of debt – just about finished paying off my daughter's school loans – then we'll talk. (It was our graduation gift to her. Who needs that much debt over their head when they are just starting out?)
8. Learn something new – I'm always learning something – asking questions – researching things.
9. Help others – this could be defined as one of my personality traits
10. Get organized – not in this life time J
I look at resolutions as something that can be broken. I dislike saying I'm going to do something and then not do it. So instead of making yearly resolutions, I try to be a good person. I try to be friendly and helpful and try grumpy. It's my lifetime resolution.
If you would like a hot read on a cold January evening, I'm offering my latest erotic romance – Black Dorn. To win – post your resolution and email and I'll ask my critique group to pick the winner. Good luck. Oh yes, would you please feed my fish.
Black Dorn - Purchased to be trained as a courtesan, Branwyn arrives in a strange new land. A castle called Black Dorn. Her instructor, Duna Trea, is horrified by Branwyn's lack of knowledge of the relations between a man and his woman. Branwyn begins her daily lesson in the art of bedding a man.
Back from battle, Gon-Dra Malack (Prince Malack) rests near a brook to freshen before returning to the court of his father. His life is lonely. The noble woman chosen to be his bride rejected him and bedded his hated rival. Malack turned his anger and loneliness onto the focus of battle and increasing the power and wealth of Black Dorn.
Branwyn, lost and afraid, nears the handsome stranger standing by the brook and requests his help. Malack raises his eyes and his gaze settles onto the face of the woman who will be his queen.
Grand Prize Info - Now that you've been to my blog – on to the next one. You can go to each of the 65 blogs, make a comment and be entered to win 65 times for the grand prize. Best of luck.

Book Review - Patricia Green's Psyched Out
Patricia Green has written a delightful, hot, fun read in her latest novelette – Psyched Out. Accident-prone Lu wants adventure and excitement and longs for a passionate romance. Her last affair was too long ago to remember and wasn't exactly satisfying. At a psychology conference, Lu drops everything – everything! – conference binders, papers, purse and condoms in the middle of the hotel lobby. Phillip Pines gallantly stoops to help a maiden in distress. After successfully gliding over the embarrassment of the condoms and suffering from summer allergies, she sneezes – a nice juicy wet one - into her sleeve. Again, polite, sophisticated Phillip comes to the rescue by offering his handkerchief. She takes it then offers to launder and mail it to him. He suggests she return it to his room. Lu's libido kicks into overdrive until she hears him say, "I won't be there."
Disappointed, she returns to her hotel room and has an a-ha! moment when she realizes that her rescuer is Dr. Phillip Pines, leading authority on BDSM and interestingly enough....whose book she has read three times. Knowing she has lost her fantasy moment, she flies back to Washington destined to sit on the sidelines of sexual adventure.
Determined to lose herself in her research, she is thwarted by her best friend, Mimi, who drags her to Pleasure Cover, Jamaica. Under the sweltering Caribbean sun, Lu's gaze meets Dr. Pine's gaze. Flustered at seeing him again, Lu has another hilarious accident, this time involving a tube of sunscreen. Phillip is entranced with this shy, bumbling intellect and asks her to dinner. Soon Lu is dancing within the safety of his arms and – well – I don't want to give it away – let's just say it got really hot in Jamaica.
Psyched Out is fast paced and very well-written. Lu is a lovable character who the reader is cheering for from the very first moment. I recommend Patricia Green's novelette to anyone who loves a story where the shy fumbling loner meets the man of her fantasies.
